The provision of personal data is voluntary, except where the provision of personal data is required by law. In this case, you are required to provide the personal data. The Controller does not engage in automated decision making or profiling in the processing of personal data.

8. How do we protect your personal data?

We ensure the security of your personal data by taking various technical and organisational measures, including:

  • Regular updates of our hardware and software;
  • Securing our hardware and software with protection software;
  • Securing our business premises;
  • Training our employees on the protection of personal data;
  • Ensuring that unauthorised access to personal data is restricted.

We are aware that despite the security mechanisms we established, a security incident may occur. We have therefore established a specific protocol to deal with such incidents quickly, efficiently and in compliance with the law.

Should a security incident occur in which the rights and freedoms of individuals are likely to have been compromised, we will notify the competent supervisory authority of the incident immediately, but no later than in 72 hours. However, should a security incident occur that may pose a significant risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals, we will also immediately notify the individuals concerned.

9. What rights are available to you?

You have the following rights in relation to the processing of your personal data that we carry out:

  1. The right of access to and extraction of personal data: this right allows you to obtain information about the processing of your personal data and also allows you to inspect or obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  2. The right to rectification of personal data: you have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data that we hold about you.
  3. The right to restrict the processing of personal data: this right allows you to restrict processing, e.g., for the duration of a rectification or objection decision which is pending with the Controller.
  4. The right to erasure of personal data: this right allows you to request the erasure of the data we hold about you in certain cases. Where the law or a valid contract constitutes the legal basis for the processing of personal data, we cannot erase your personal data.
  5. Right to withdraw consent: where we process your personal data based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not have any negative consequences for you. Please note that we may no longer be able to provide you with certain services after you withdraw your consent.
  6. Right to object to the processing of personal data: this right is available to you when the processing of personal data is based on legitimate interests. It allows you to request the Controller to stop the processing. Please note that the Controller has the possibility to refuse such objection in certain cases.   7. Right to data portability: this right allows you to request that we transmit your personal data to another Controller in machine-readable form. This is only possible if we process your data by automated means and where the data is collected based on consent or a contractual relationship.

If you believe that there has been a breach of personal data protection, you can always lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, represented by the Information Commissioner of Slovenia.

We will process your requests regarding the rights set out above as soon as possible and within 30 days of receipt. If a particular request is so extensive that it will take longer to deal with, we will inform you in advance and give you an indicative time limit for preparing a response.

We reserve the right to identify you in the event of a request to exercise any of your rights. If you do not provide us with personal data that can reliably identify you with your request, we will ask you for additional personal data. If you do not provide us with the additional personal data within the time limit, we will reject your request.
